Do something that not only makes you feel great but also helps change the lives of those living in poverty around the world by giving them the gift of chiropractic healthcare! Run the September 12th Chicago Half Marathon for Non-Profit Chiropractic Organization (NPCO)! We want YOU on this year’s Team NPCO for Chiropractic!
The task of running 13.1 miles may seem daunting but you will be "Running for a Healthier Tomorrow" alongside many first-time Half Marathon runners ranging from doctors to students to patients to chiropractic supporters from across the country!
“Running with Team NPCO in the 2009 Chicago Marathon was incredible. I have been a runner for many years, but having a purpose to get out and run took the experience to a new level. I am so proud of NPCO and the work they're doing to get chiropractic to people in need around the world...and what a great way to give them the support they need. I plan on running with them again in 2010!” stated Dr. Wendy Hutton.
Registration is officially open and spots are limited! All runners receive (free) an official Team NPCO jersey, personalized fundraising website, weekly support, discount to our Official Team NPCO hotel, access to our Charity Village tent with free gear check-in, refreshments and much, much more.
NPCO has special programs in place for doctors that are interested in running either the Chicago Half Marathon or the Chicago Marathon with their patients. We also encourage you to sign up with friends and family members and create a team under Team NPCO representing your school, office, church, club or other organization!
There is a mandatory $500.00 fundraising minimum for all runners as well as a one-time $20.00 Team NPCO registration fee. We offer various incentives and prizes for fundraisers that exceed the required fundraising minimum.
NPCO is looking to exceed their 82-member team in 2009 and reach their team goal of $100,000. All money raised will go towards opening up non-profit clinics in third world countries and educating their local communities about the benefits of chiropractic.
