Welcome to Chicago Chinatown 5K !

Please join us for the 2011 Chicago Chinatown 5K and Youth Run, which races through one of Chicago’s most recognizable communities. This race is a fast course that runs through the heart of Chinatown and finishes back at the start line. This year, we also feature a quarter mile (age 6-8) and a half mile (age 9-11) youth run.

Race Course

Starting at Chinatown Square on Archer Avenues, the race features a fast course with turn around at 34th Street. Runners will run through the heart of Chinatown and finish back again at Chinatown Square.

Youth Run

Kids ages 6 – 11 will also have the opportunity to participate in an organized run after the 5K race. The kids’ quarter mile (age 6-8) and a half mile (age 9-11) race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The race will be held along Archer Ave., near Chinatown Square. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend to cheer on the runners.

Registration

Registration Fee On or before June 27, registration fee for the Chicago Chinatown 5K Race is $30 and Youth Run is $12. After June 27, the fees are $35 for 5K Run and $15 for Youth Run. Race day registration fee (cash only) – $35 for 5K Run and $15 for Youth Run.

First Aid

A first aid tent will be set up in Chinatown Square for participants. An ambulance will also be on call for emergencies.

Run to build a better community!

This year, Chinatown 5K & Youth Run is proud to partner with the following not-for-profit organizations: the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, the Chinese American Service League and the Pui Tak Center to help raise funds for their various programs.
