Chicago Dance Institute’s “Bring the Movement 5K” helps to raise awareness and funding for Arts Education in Chicago Public Schools. Chicago Dance Institute (CDI) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit arts education organization that brings dance to Chicago's youth. Through in-school partnerships, residencies, and public performances, CDI operates as a catalyst to engage children and motivate them towards excellence. It is founded with the knowledge that the arts have a unique power to engage and motivate children, while developing a standard of discipline, confidence, and expression.
This is your opportunity to join your community and raise money to fund programs that underscore our belief that the arts should be a part of every child's education. Through our in-school partnerships, children can experience music and movement integrated into their curriculum exposing them to creativity, expression, culture, and self-confidence. Please join us.
