Brief Description

Please join us at CBTF's Superheroes 5K Walk/Run/Kids’ Run to raise money for pediatric brain tumor research.

The 5K course is a flat, paved trail. Top 3 overall male and female runners will receive cash prizes ($100, $50, $25). The Top 3 runners in each age category will be recognized.

Kids’ Run is ½ mile, all participants will receive a medal.

Post-race food/raffle prizes will be offered! These brave children are superheroes, your support means the world.

Families (Immediate Family Only)

For families who have more than 5 people living in the same household, contact the Foundation (cbtf@childhoodbraintumor.org) for the discounted price on additional mail-in registrations.

Pre-Race Registration and Update

Our T-shirt order is due Monday evening, register by Tues. 9/6, 9:00 a.m. (EST) to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Extra shirts available until supply runs out. Reg. open at packet-pick up on Sat.

Special trampoline performance by adult brain tumor survivor of GBM and his team.

On Race Day, Sunday, September 11:

PACKET PICK UP/RACE DAY REGISTRATION: 7:30-8:30 AM (T-shirt not guaranteed and $5 late fee will apply)



RACE START TIME: 9:00 AM

KIDS' RUN: 9:15 AM

 Special forces unite! Every child fighting a brain tumor is a superhero! Costumes are not required, but will add to the fun, if you like!

Parking inside Park

On Beach Drive: Between East-West Hwy & Woodbine Street, you may park on gravel or at French Intl School. Take the footbridge to Rec Center. There are two lots further down Beach Drive

On Meadowbrook Lane: Go past stables to Maintenance Facility & turn right into pkg lot; or turn right at the bend toward Candy Cane City & park in lot leading to Rec Center.

Additional Parking

Please do NOT park at Ohr Kodesh Congregation, an event is being held on Sunday morning.

Parking is also available on neighborhood streets surrounding Meadowbrook Park. Please be considerate of local residents. Thank you!

Additional Information

Age Divisions: 14 and under; 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up.

Post-race refreshments to include: bagels, muffins, fruit, water, Honest Tea, PopChips, and beverages. Leashed dogs are welcome.
