36th Chestertown Tea Party 10 Mile Run & 5k Run/Walk

5K is $25 until May 20, $30 After and on day of event. 10 Mile is $35 until May 20, $40 after and on day of event.

Brief Description

Following the race, join our yearly observance and reenactment of the Chestertown Tea Party of 1774. There will be a parade including drum corps, Scottish pipes, marching bands, floats and more. Vendors will be selling Maryland crab cakes, BBQ ribs, chicken, burgers, funnel cakes and much more. Arts and crafts vendors and street performers will fill the streets as well. There is NO CHARGE for the festival.

Additional Information

Course is USATF - Maryland Certified MD08011JS. Awards will be given in 5 year age groups for the 10 Miler and 5K. Awards to top 3 male and female walkers in the 5K. Awards will be given to first Kent County, MD male & female residents in the 10 Mile & 5K run. In the run events, awards will be given in the following precedence: Overall male & female winners, Kent County resident, age groups, NO DOUBLE AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN.
