8th Annual LifePoint Gift of Life 5K/2K Run Walk

All participants have the opportunity to fundraise and a page will automatically be created for you.
Fundraising is encouraged, but not required to participate.

Our race helps raise awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation as well as about South Carolina's DONOR REGISTRY - www.DonateLifeSC.org

Registrations

LATE registrations will be taken at our LifePoint office (3950 Faber Place Dr. - Suite 400, Charleston, SC 29405) beginning Wednesday, February 20, 2013 @ 9 am through Friday, February 22, 2013 until 5:00 pm. Participants may also register on race day at the park 7:45-8:45 am. ALL LATE REGISTRATIONS (beginning February 20)WILL BE $30.

2K

We have added a non-competitive 2K (1.24 miles) Run Walk. Runners and walkers may participate in either the 5K or the 2K. Those who plan to walk leisurely are asked to register for the 2K.

Transplant Recipients

We will again have a transplant recipient division for men and women.

Living Donors

NEW this year! We have added a Living Donors Division. If you have donated a kidney, partial liver or bone marrow to someone else, you are eligible to compete in this division.

Schedule

In order to complete our race in a timely fashion, we have scheduled the post-race awards ceremony to begin @ 10:00 am. Any participants still out on the race course(s) at that time will miss the program.

Strollers

Baby strollers and baby joggers are allowed in our race but we ask that they participate in the 2K and start at the back of the race.

Monetary Donations

You can make a monetary donation to LifePoint's Public Outreach activities during the registration process here or in person at the registration table the day of the race. Double Platinum - $100: Platinum - $50; Gold - $25; Silver - $10

Individuals and teams who wish to use their participation in our race to raise funds for our cause can sign up to do so @ www.active.com. If you have questions, contact Shirley McAdams, LifePoint Special Events Coordinator, @ 1-800-462-0755.

TEAM CAPTAINS:

1. Click the "Register Now" button.
2. Choose the Team Captains - Create & Join your Team category.
3. Enter the team name at the top of the form, finish filling in your information and pay.

TEAM MEMBERS:

1. Click the "Register Now" button.
2. Choose the Team Members - Join a Team.
3. Choose the name of your team at the top of the registration form (Please be sure your Team Captain has set up the team prior to you registering).
4. Finish filling in your information and pay.
