Brief Description

The Bulldog Challenge is a fun, motivating, and challenging team event designed to test the physical and mental toughness of every competitor. The course is just over 6 miles long and stretches throughout the campus of The Citadel, parts of the City of Charleston, and through the marsh! The event is open to the public and there were 119 four person teams for last year's race. The Bulldog Challenge has grown into a nationally recognized event attracting competitors from all over the country.

Additional Information

The Bulldog Challenge is credited for raising thousands of dollars for national, local, and veteran charities. This year, the proceeds from the Bulldog Challenge will be donated to scholarships established in the memory of Citadel Marines that gave their lives during Operation Iraqi Freedom: First Lieutenant Dan Malcolm, Second Lieutenant Almar Fitzgerald, Second Lieutenant Joshua Booth, and Lance Corporal Timothy Creager.
