Brief Description

Eighty percent of the funds raised through the Shamrock 'n' Run 5K will be given to the Center for Child and Family Health in Durham, NC. The remaining 20 percent will be given to the national Prevent Child Abuse America organization. Last year our race and dinner raised over $54,000 for the prevention of child abuse. This year we hope to exceed last year's donation.

Go Green Pasta Dinner

All you can eat pasta bar at the KD House (219 E Franklin St) on Friday, February 3 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Join us to get pumped up for race day and support Prevent Child Abuse America and the Center for Child and Family Health in Durham, NC. Tickets $5 at the door.

Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up is available at the following times: Fleet Feet (300 E. Main St in Carborro) on Thursday Feb 2 from 4-7pm and on Friday Feb 3 from 4-7pm. Also, at the Pit (UNC Campus) on Friday Feb 3 from 10am - 2pm.

Child Care

We will provide child care during race day. There will be a safe, fun and supervised children's area at our house. Please feel free to bring children of any age!

Coat Check

Will will provide a safe place for any belongings for free!

Additional Information

Online Registration closes at midnight on February 1, 2012. Participants may also register in person on race day starting at 7:30 am on Feb. 4, 2012.
