You will be required to sign a USA Triathlon waiver.

Field Limit

The field is limited to 600. There is no waiting list.

Eligibility

Entrants must be at least 13 years old as of December 31 of the Triathlon year. Age groups, male and female: Under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ Age classification is based on your age as of December 31 of the Triathlon year.

Time limits

The race must be completed in 2 hours.

USAT (USA Triathlon)

USAT (USA Triathlon) membership is mandatory for acceptance into this race. One-day USAT licenses are automatic except for USAT annual members. Annual applications are available from USAT on their web site: www.USATriathlon.org

Waiting List & Refunds

Unfortunately we are not able to offer a waiting list or refunds.

Cancellation

If the race or any portion of the race must be cancelled due to weather, unsafe conditions, or any other reason, there will be no refund of registration fees. Race packets and premiums will be distributed at packet pick up.

Packet Pick Up

Saturday, September 15th inside the main entrance #1 of Westfields High School (4700 Stonecroft Boulevard Chantilly, VA 20151) from 11am - 3PM. You must pick up your packet yourself. No one else can pick up your packet for you. Photo ID, and a valid USAT annual or 1 day license are required to pick up your packet. No substitutions or registration transfers are allowed. False entry under another person's name will be reported to USAT for appropriate action.

Chronotrack Timing will be provided by Amazing Race Timing for this event.
If you cannot pick up your packet on Saturday, September 15th between 11 and 3 pm, you must notify the event in advance by e-mail or letter.

USAT members must bring their 2012 membership card along with a valid ID to packet pick up. Any athlete who is unable to produce a current membership card and has not already paid the $12 one day fee will be required to purchase a one day membership. Any exceptions must be approved in advance prior to packet pickup.

Awards

Overall awards will be given to the top 5 men and women finishers and to the top 3 Master male and female finishers. 1st and 2nd place awards will be given in the Clydesdale (men 200+ lbs) and Athena (women 150+) divisons. Age group awards will be based on the number of entries in each age group.

Parking

Park at Westfields High School (4700 Stonecroft, Blvd, Chantilly, VA 22151) and walk next door to the Cub Run RECenter (4630 Stonecroft Blvd.) for swim facility and transition area and staging. No parking will be allowed at the RECenter.

Lodging

Many local options are available in Chantilly and are readily found by searching the internet.

Volunteers

We always need volunteers. It requires over 200 volunteers working before, during, and after the race to put on the Triathlon, If you aren't racing, consider volunteering.
