Course

The Westfield High School 5k Run for Scholarships will take runners and walkers through the beautiful Westfield Business Park in Centreville. While the race is certified for those race enthusiasts, it is just as fun for families and friends to come out and enjoy the outdoors and experience the thrill of being a part of our community tradition. There will be safety marshals stationed along the course, a water station at the halfway point and lots of prizes and raffles at the finish!

Attention

No head sets, inline skates, bikes, strollers, or pets allowed.

Warmup by True Athlete Performance.

Post-Race Activities

Prizes awarded to the top male and female finishers in each of the age groups. Lots of raffle prizes given away!

Registration Cost

All students under the age of 18: $18
Before August 13th: $24
After August 14th: $28

Race Packet Pick Up and Onsite Registration

Packet Pickup at Westfield High School Main Entrance Lobby Friday, September 16th 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Saturday, September 17th 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.

Parking

Plenty of parking available in the student/ staff parking lot located on the side of the school.

Event Proceeds

The proceeds of this race go to scholarships for Westfield students. This is the tenth year of this 5K and we have raised over $50,000 for Westfield graduates.

Chronotrack Timing

Transponder timing provided by Amazing Race Timing will be used to score the race. The system uses the Chronotrack B-Tag which is attached to runners' bib and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The B-Tag is disposable.
