MARATHON
• There is a strict 6 hour time limit for the Marathon and one must finish within this limit to receive the official Finisher's Medallion. The six hours begins when the final starter crosses the timing mat at the start of the race
• Must be 16 years of age or older to enter. Limited to 4,500 entrants. Race begins at 6:45 a.m.
• Chronotrack D-Tag timing for all participants. Overall awards are based on GUN time, divisional awards are based on tag time.
• Male runners with a predicted time of under 3 hours and females with a time of less than 3:15 qualify for seeded bibs. Seeded runners may be contacted for verification of predicted time.
• Entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. No exceptions!
• Participants receive an Asics technical fabric shirt and custom ceramic medallion.
BOSTON 2 BIG SUR CHALLENGE
• Registration opens for this category at 7:00 AM pacific time on September 24, 2011 and is limited to the first 400 to sign up on a "first come, first served" basis
• Entry fee includes training an ASICS B2B shirt and finisher’s jacket in gender specific sizing, a custom participant bib and finisher medallion, access to a special B2B tent at the finish and an entry to the post-race party to be held Sunday evening, April 29th.
•This does NOT include a Boston registration – you must register separately for Boston either by your qualifying time or through their charity program. To take part in B2B you must submit your Boston finishing time via email within five days of running Boston.
THE 21-MILER
• There is a strict 6 1/4 hour time limit for the 21-Miler and one must finish within this limit to receive the official Finisher’s Medallion. The 6 1/4 hours begins when the final starter crosses the timing mat at the start of the race.
• Must be 16 years of age or older to enter. Limited to 1,000 entrants. Course distance is approximately 21 miles. Race begins at 6:45 a.m.
• Chronotrack D-Tag timing for all participants. This is a timed, NON-COMPETITIVE fitness event and there are no awards given. Participants have the option to run or walk the course.
• Entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. No exceptions!
• Participants receive an Asics technical fabric shirt custom ceramic medallion..
THE RELAY
• Must be 10 years of age or older to enter. Limited to 300 teams.
• Teams consist of up to FIVE members. Team categories are Open Male, Open Female, Masters Male, Masters Female, Open Mixed, Masters Mixed and Corporate Mixed.
• Chronotrack D-Tag timing provided.
• Entry fee if NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. No exceptions!
• Our permit limits the race to a finish time of 6 hours. YOUR TEAM MUST FINISH THE RELAY IN 6 HOURS OR SOONER TO BE OFFICIAL FINISHERS, RECEIVE MEDALLIONS AND BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS.
• Any changes to teams after 4-20-2012 subjects the team to a $30.00 late processing fee.
• Participants receive an Asics technical fabric shirt custom ceramic medallion.
10-6-MILER presented by Earthbound Farm
• The walk/run begins at Rocky Point Restaurant at 7:30 a.m. Must be 10 years of age or older to enter. Limited to 1,600 entrants.
• This is a tag timed, non-competitive event with a 5 ½ hour cut-off. Participants may either walk or run, or do a combination of both.
• Entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. No exceptions!
9-MILER presented by Earthbound Farm
• The 9-Miler Run begins at 7:35 a.m. with the 5K runners; the 9-Miler Walk begins at 7:40 a.m. with the 5K walkers. Must be 10 years of age or older to enter. Limited to 1,200 entrants.
• This is a tag timed, non-competitive event with a 5 ½ hour cut-off. Participants may register either in the running or walking category
• Entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. No exceptions!
BIG SUR 5K
• Must be 8 years of age or older to enter.
• Entry fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE. No exceptions!
• Chronotrack D-Tag timing provided to all open run participants.
• Participants may register in either the running or walking category.
• Pre-Registration for the 5K closes on Friday, April 20, 2012 and will resume again at the Expo on April 27th and 28th.
JUST RUN!® Just Kids 3K Presented by the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula
• DATE: Saturday, April 28, 2012
• TIME: 8:00 AM
• LOCATION: Lover’s Point Park in Pacific Grove, CA
A 3K (approximate 2 mile) out and back course beginning and ending at Lover’s Point Park. There is also a 1.5K option (.9 mile) recommened for participants six and younger. This is a non-timed fun run for children, their friends, and family. All registrants receive a finisher’s medallion and a unique aquatic themed t-shirt .
• Must be five years of age and in good health to participate.
