Brief Description

Come celebrate the life of Collins Dixon with us at the 1st Annual Collins Dixon Bend Your Knees 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. The race will start and finish at the First Baptist Church of Canton and will be run on paved streets. Race day registration and packet pickup will begin at 7AM.

About Collins

Collins Dixon lived fully while battling a rare and aggressive cancerous brain tumor. His faith, strength and courage inspired those who loved him and even those that didn’t know him. Please join us in honoring his life while bringing awareness to a disease that accounts for 60% of death in our precious children. Let’s extinguish the words “No known cure”.

Series affiliation

The race is part of the 2012 Black Bag Race Series and the 2012 Clover Glove Series.

Shirts and Goodies

Shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners and will be given to race day registrants while supplies last. There will be plenty of fluids and snacks after the race. There will also be vendor booths, jump houses and music.

Additional Information

Awards will be given to the Overall Male/Female runners and 3 deep in standard age groups beginning with 10 and under to 70 and over. Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.
