Brief Description

Serve for Selflessness! When you walk or run, half the proceeds will be distributed to C.O.P.S. - Concerns of Police Survivors National Organization and half to the Caledonia Professional Police Association! Our Association gives back to the local community through contributions such as donations to little league and hosting public events and activities. C.O.P.S. organization was founded in 1984 for the surviving families of law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty.

From the north: Exit I-94 at 7 Mile Rd, go east towards STH 38. Take STH 38 south to 6 Mile Rd and continue on 6 Mile Rd east to STH 32/Douglas Ave. Turn south on STH 32/Douglas Ave and turn east on 4 Mile Rd. Turn north on Chester Ln. From the south: Exit I-94 at CTH K/Northwestern Ave. Take CTH K/Northwestern Ave. east. Turn north on STH 31. Turn east on 5 Mile Rd. Turn south on STH 32/Douglas Ave. until 4 Mile Rd. Turn east on 4 Mile Rd. Turn north on Chester Ln.

Event Schedule Rain or Shine – No Refunds Registration: 7:00 a.m. Race Start: 8:30 a.m. Youth Start: 9:30 a.m. Awards Ceremony: 10:00 a.m. Caledonia Safety Days: 10:00 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the parking lot of K-mart **Run/walk registration is behind K-mart and Pick N Save at the corner of STH 32/Douglas Ave and 4 Mile Rd. ** Information 5k Run Age Groups / Awards: Top Male & Female Finishers (excluded from age group awards) and Top 3 in age divisions: U10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. Winners must be present to receive award. Race Amenities -All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt. A limited number of extra shirts will be available for those registering after 8/20/12. -Post-race refreshments and snacks for participants -Stop by for Caledonia Safety Days after the run/walk! Free to all! It is located in the parking lot of K-mart near the race start. Restrictions: Please no bicycles, roller skates/blades, skateboards, and pets. Strollers and wheelchairs are to start behind runners. No alcoholic beverages allowed. No unauthorized assistance or un-sportsmanlike conduct. No foul language.
