Brief Description

Fast, gentle downhill, majority of course is on the Butler-Freeport Community Trail, a very scenic Rails-to-Trails project with a surface of crushed limestone. (First 1.7 miles, mile nine and last half mile are a paved blacktop surface) Marked miles. Verbal Times at 1, 5 & 10 miles. RFID Chip Timing System. Water stations and medical support. Packet Pickup - No Race Day Registration

Packet Pickup 7:00am to 8:30 am ONLY in the registration area at the Lernerville Speedway parking lot. No registration will take place at the starting area.

Parking and Shuttle

All entrants must park at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road (Rt 356), Sarver, Pa 16055. A shuttle will be provided to the starting area . The shuttle will run 7:00am to 8:30am only. Gear will be transported from the starting area to the finish. Post race shuttles will run as needed to transport runners to the parking area.

Directions to parking area

From Pittsburgh travel Rt 28N to Exit 17 (Rt 356). Take Rt 356 North and turn right at Lernerville Speedway.

Directions to Finish

Travel Rt 356 South to Freeport. Follow signs for Freeport. Turn right onto Second Street, continue straight to Riverside Drive. Limited on-street parking.

Proceeds benefit the Butler Freeport Community Trail in Southeastern Butler County, Pennsylvania.

$100 cash prize each for setting new male or female course record. Current male record: Chris Geddis 1:07:39.2 Current female record: Nicole Blaesser 1:18:45.8

Awards: Top 3 male and female finishers. Top 3 male and female Masters (40 and up) and top 3 male and female in listed age groups (no duplication): 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up
