Brief Description

Our race is new and improved this year! The course will be professionally measured and timed by Running Ventures. All proceeds raised by this event will go to Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered dogs in high kill shelters. We are a small, no-kill, volunteer run organization.

Pre-registration & T-shirt Guarantee Close

As of Oct 18 at 11:59 pm, the "official" pre-registration period for Spooky Tails is closed. However, active.com will remain open for those who still wish to sign up for Spooky Tails! Participants registered after Oct 18 at 11:59 pm will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt. Day of registration is available starting at 9:00 am, Oct 27. A limited number of T-shirts and sizes will be available for late registrants at the Spooky Tails registration table on a first come, first serve basis.

Guidelines for Our 4 Legged Participants

- All dogs must be on a leash (no retractable leashes). - All dogs should be current with vaccinations. - Please pick up your dog’s waste. Warm up your dog beforehand to avoid dealing with this during the event. - If you enter a younger dog please be responsible; take your time, stop, walk, or carry. Dogs younger than one year have not fully developed their bones and joints and racing or over exerting your youngster may cause permanent damage or later issues.

Additional Information

Race day registration begins at 9:00 am. The 5k Run begins at 10:00 am and the 1 Mile Walk begins at 11:00 am. Costumes are encouraged for all 2 legged and 4 legged participants! Activities will include a canine costume contest, raffle, puppy kissing booth, pet fest and more!
