Brief Description

This chip timed run/walk is an evening race, and will pass by several Christmas light displays that are a part of Lake Lanier Islands Resort 'Magical Nights of Lights'. Beneficiaries of this event are the Marine Corps 'Toys for Tots', and Hamilton Mill Christian Church's 'Secret Santa Mission'. Race will be limited to 1,800, and sorry but NO race day registration.

Directions

The race will be held at Lake Lanier Islands Resort located at 7000 Lanier Islands Pakway in Buford GA. It's real easy, I-85N to Exit 113 (I-985), in 8 miles exit off at Exit 8 Islands Parkway (formerly Friendship Road) and turn left. The Resort is straight ahead 4.5 miles, and just follow the signs to the parking area and the start of the race.

Awards: 1st Place M/F- $150, 2nd Place M/F- $75, 3rd Place M/F $50; Plaques to the Overall M/F, Top Masters M/F (40-50), and Top Grand Masters M/F (50+); Age group winners (Top 3 M & F) will receive a Santa Claus Bobble Head Doll, and the age groups are 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
