Brief Description

Competitors start at the Flint Ridge trailhead at the top of NOC's Wesser campus, run approximately 4.75 miles along trails, and finish riverside by the Nantahala after a quick downhill. Enjoy this single-tracked switchback trail with amazing views of fall foliage and the river in the Nantahala Gorge. This race is sponsored by Salomon.

Come join us during Octoberfest for the innaugural Flint Ridge Fall 5M, and help support MedicForce, an independent non-profit organization that utilizes first aid and medical professionals to provide free first aid training and care to remote communities throughout the world. Race will start at 9:00 am, prizes will be announced closer to the event.
