Brief Description

Please join us for the 1st Annual Bryan Park RunApalooza 5K at the pristine fields of Bryan Park in Greensboro on Friday June 22rd, 2012! The 5K cross country course and 1 Mile Fun Run was designed through the lush soccer fields and the wooded terrain of Bryan Park. Come enjoy the fast, generally flat course, family friendly activities, music, and fabulous door prizes in a spectator friendly venue! Tons of fun for families and great challenges for all levels of athletes!!

Registration & Fees

Pre-Registration now through May 20th 1 Mile Fun Run -- $10 5K Cross Country Race -- $20 Registration May 21st – June 14th 1 Mile Fun Run -- $15 5K Cross Country Race -- $25 Late Registration June 15th to Race Day 1 Mile Fun Run -- $20 5K Cross Country Race -- $30 T-Shirts are guaranteed to the first 800 registered runners. Signed applications can be mailed with check or money order to GUSA. GUSA P.O. Box 9185 Greensboro, NC 27429 Registration is non-refundable.

Start Times

The 1-Mile Fun Run starts at 7:30pm, the 5K starts at 8:00pm. Races start at Bryan Park Soccer Complex.

Packet Pick Up & Registration

Runners may register and pick up their race packets the evening before the race at a location tba: Thursday June 22nd from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Runners also may register and pick up their race packets on race day at McPherson Stadium at Bryan Park: Friday June 22rd from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Race organizers are not responsible for packets or awards that are not picked up.

Awards

All Fun Run participants will all receive a ribbon. Overall male and female runners will receive an award for the Fun Run. Awards will be given for top 3 males and females plus awards in each age division for the 5K race: 9 and under 10-14 15 -19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60+ Time results will be posted the day of the race. Awards will be given after the races.

Post Race Festivities

Random door prize drawings will be held after both the Fun Run and the 5K races. Stay and enjoy all the festivities, the great post race refreshments and a chance to win one of the many incredible door prizes that will be given away in random drawings after each race. Award ceremony will follow the door prize drawings. ***Participants must be present to win door prizes***
