Brief Description

Join us Saturday, May 4th for the 4th annual Kohl Elementary 5K Run/Fun Walk. It is our goal to inspire children and adults alike to develop and maintain healthy lifestyles in the community, while at the same time having fun and raising funds for much needed improvements at Kohl Elementary School. You don't want to miss this one! Your participation will benefit playground improvements at Kohl Elementary School.

Features

Event features include: Official USATF certified course - BolderBOULDER qualifier!; Professional and experienced chip timing by Colorado Race Timing with same day race results; Free technical T-shirt with every registration (cotton t's for youth); Hydration station along the route; Police safety; and a FREE kid's 1/2 mile fun run around Kohl Elementary School.

Cash & Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to both Men's and Women's 1st ($100)*, 2nd ($75), and 3rd ($50) place finishers. Awesome Age Group prizes to the top male and female finisher in the following categories; 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, and Wheelchair Division. A $53 cash prize will also be awarded to the 53rd place overall finisher to celebrate Kohl's Anniversary.

Post-Race Goodies & Treats

Refreshments, Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuits, Yogurt Brothers yogurt, Whole Foods fruit, Noodles & Company treats, abundant snacks, and goody bags will be provided after the race to all registered participants!

Additional Information

Race will be held rain, snow, or shine. In the interest of safety and fairness to competitive runners, no dogs are allowed. Families with strollers are welcome to participate toward the back of the run/fun walk.

Packet/Bib Pickup

Friday, May 3rd from 3:30-7:30 PM at RoadRunner Sports 10436 Town Center Dr. Westminster, OR: Race morning starting at 6:30 AM in front of Kohl Elementary School, 1000 W. 10th Ave. Broomfield, CO 80020.

Parking

Parking is available on side streets around Kohl Elementary School, or at the Lutheran Church of Hope 1305 W. 10th Ave.

Proceeds

All proceeds will go toward school improvements at Kohl Elementary.
