Brief Description

Celebrate Pet Parents’ Day by joining the VPI K9K Pet Cancer Awareness Walk! The K9K returns to NYC to raise funds for pet cancer research. For the 4th year, Veterinary Pet Insurance is leading the charge in raising awareness of the nation's number one disease-related killer of dogs & cats with a 4-kilometer walk for both people and their pets. This year's NYC K9K carries participants from Cadman Plaza Park over the historic Brooklyn Bridge, treating pet owners views of New York's landmarks.

Weather

In case of inclement weather the event will continue as planned, however each participant will receive a rain poncho at check-in.

Goodies

Registrants for the New York VPI K9K Pet Cancer Awareness Walk will receive entry to the K9K, a commemorative T-shirt, a bandana for their pooch, and post-event refreshments.

Additional Information

Pet owners and their canines will walk in unison to help raise money for the Animal Cancer Foundation (ACF). All registration fees will be donated to this non-profit organization focused on the prevention and treatment of cancer in pets and people.
