Additional Information
In this 10-week program we focus on both mileage AND speed so that your next race will result in a personal best for you and give you an edge going into the upcoming 2010 season. We have structured the program to accommodate all distances, whether your goal is a 5K, a marathon, or you're just looking to stay in shape and maintain the fitness gains you made this past season. Our once weekly workout will have an increased focus on pacing. We will also employ hill repeats, tempo runs, stair climbing, interval training, and speed & agility drills as we explore the varied terrain of Prospect Park.
This program is open to individuals of all abilities but we recommend folks coming into the program already be able to comfortably run a 5K/3.1 miles, at a sub 10:00/mile pace.
