This annual event is in its 32nd year of benefiting the Brenham High School Athletic Program. The race is USATF certified and is timed and scored using ChampionChip technology (see details below).
Check-in 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Kid's 1-Mile Run starts at 8:00 a.m. 5K and 10K races start at 8:30 a.m.
Brenham High School on FM 2935 off of Loop 577 on north side of town.
Registration through March 31 is $20. April 1 through registration close of April 12 is $25. Raceday registration is $30 - cash only. KIDS 1-MILE registration through March 31 is $15; April 1 through registration close of April 12 is $20.
The Trestle Trail will guide runners through Brenham’s beautiful countryside. Paved, winding roads will take you past rolling hills covered in Bluebonnets. It won't take runners long to understand why the cows think Brenham is Heaven!
Male & Female—10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over
Male & Female—6 & under, 7-9, 10-12
The Team Challenge, available for both 10K and 5K runners ready to compete as a team. Each team will consist of no more than 10 runners from an organized group scoring the Top 5. Have your team join us in the fun.
The country's best Ice Cream is waiting for you when you cross the finish line. Blue Bell provides frozen snacks for the event.
First Overall Male & Female; First Three in each Division for all races. All runners are eligible for drawings held after the race.
1. All timed participants must pick up a one-time-use timing chip the morning of the race. 2. Timing chips must be affixed to your shoe as instructions indicate. 3. Please do not swap timing chips with family or friends. 4. Results will be calculated by chip time. 5. Only participants wearing a timing chip will have a recorded finishing time.
Take Hwy 290 East approximately 92 miles. At Brenham, go left on Hwy 36 North (approximately 2 miles);veer right on Hwy 36 Business. Go to the first light, the high school is on the left.
Take Hwy 290 West approximately 72 miles. Exit Loop 577 (past the old drive-in theatre) and take a right on FM 2935.
Take Hwy 60 towards Snook. Turn left on Hwy 50. Turn right on Hwy 105 going into Brenham. Take a right on Loop 577. Go right on FM 2935. Approximately 42 miles.
