Brief Description

100% single -track trail in alpine and sub-alpine terrain. Over 11,000 feet of elevation gain. Multiple stream crossings. Snow fields likely. 3 fully stocked aid stations, 2 water only stations. Great post-race pizza party. Unique finisher award to 50K. This race is in the Gnarly Dude Series. See race website for more info.

Directions

20-30 minutes from town, off I-90, exit 305 or Frontage Rd, north 1.5 mi on Springhill Rd, right on Sypes Canyon Road across from Springhill Sod Farm sign, then 1 mile watching for hard left on Summer Cutoff Road, up hill and over to take a right and go 1.5 mi on Saddle Mt Rd to end, left on Forest Service road 2 mi to Middle Cottonwood trailhead. Tough parking on side of road, carpool if possible.

Post race Party

Party starts at 6:30PM. Lindley Pavilion. Go east out of town on Main Str. As you start up hill past Exxon, turn right in Lindley Park on Button Ave or Cypress. Free beer, pop and pizza as well as great giveaways to runners and volunteers.
