Brief Description

We have partnered with the Bowie Baysox Baseball Club (Class AA Minor League Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) to host the first ever Bowie Baysox 5K & Kids Fun Run to raise money for the following benefactors: * Bowie Health Center * Bowie Police Explorers * Louie’s Holiday Hope Project. Each Participant will have an opportunity to set up a Fund-raising Page and those that raise $40 or more will have an opportunity to finish the 5K at Home Plate at Prince Georges Stadium.

Activities For Kids

In addition to the Kids Fun Run, The Baysox will have their Inflatable T-Ball Batting Cage up where your child can take three swings for $1. "Batter Up". Louie, the Baysox lovable mascot will also be present entertaining us all. Prior to beginning we will also have a fun warm up for both adults and kids.

Race Packet Pickup

Race Packet Pickup will take place on June 16, 2012 from 9am - 1pm at The Baysox Stadium

Your Free Bowie Baysox Ticket

Your Free Bowie Baysox Ticket is an undated ticket that can be used at any 2012 regular season Baysox game.

Additional Information

The top three fundraisers will also get a Team Signed Baysox Item: * Entry Fee Includes: 5K Participants received an official 5K t-shirt and a ticket to a future Baysox game. *Tickets will be distributed at race packet pickup on June 16th from 9AM - 1PM at The Baysox Stadium. Includes an option to purchase additional game tickets. The 5K route is made up of both street and gravel trails. Most of the route is flat however there are two slight inclines returning to the stadium. Registration is limited to the first 1,000 to sign up. (www.baysox.com)
