Brief Description

Dust off your running shoes and jump start your spring training with the Earth Day 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, April 25th at the CU Boulder Research Park in Boulder. All proceeds benefit the Center for ReSource Conservation (CRC), a local 501c3 non-profit committed to leading our community towards a more sustainable future.

Directions

Walk, bus, or bike to the event. Parking is available but limited so please carpool if you must drive.
Directions from US 36: Take the Foothills Parkway exit off of US 36. Follow Foothills Pkwy north to Colorado (2nd light). Turn left (west) onto Colorado Ave. CU Research Park is on the right (north) side of Colorado Ave. CU Research Park is off of Colorado Avenue, between Foothills Pkwy & 30th Street in Boulder.

Course

This flat, fast course can be used to qualify for the Bolder Boulder in May. All ages and abilities welcome.

Mail-in Entry Form

You can pick up race entry forms at Fleet Feet Sports on Broadway or the Boulder Running Company on Pearl Street in Boulder. The stores will collect your entry or you can mail it in to the address on the form.

Race Day Registration and Bib Pick-Up

Race Day registration and pre-registration bib pick-up will be available on race day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. just inside the gate to the CU Track.

Prizes

Prizes for top 3 overall men and women, top man and woman Masters (40+), top in each age group. Award ceremony to be held at Earth Fest following the completion of the race.

Earth Fest

The 5k is the first of many events planned for Boulder's Earth Fest. Enjoy vendors, demonstrations, entertainment and more from 11-4 pm in downtown Boulder. Refer to www.earthfestboulder.org for a list of activities and events for the entire family.

Free Shuttle to Earth Fest

Following the race until 1:45pm. Enjoy vendors, exhibits, demos, entertainment and lots more.

Additional Information

Race Day Registration is available from 8:30 am to 9:30 am inside the gate to the CU Track.
