Additional Information
The Boulder Distance Classic is held at the Boulder Reservoir, with great views of the Flatirons and Front Range mountains. Participants can choose either the 5 Kilometer or 15 Kilometer running races, as well as a noncompetitive 1 Kilometer run/walk. All courses are on soft-packed dirt trails around the Reservoir and on rural roads.
Volunteers from the EXPAND program will provide support at aid stations along the course, supplied with Eldorado Natural Spring Water, Gatorade and energy gels. The races are professionally chip-timed by Amie & Benji Durden and their staff.
Raffle prizes will be awarded in an effort to raise additional funds for Orphans of AIDS Trust Foundation and EXPAND. The Boulder Running Company will sell raffle tickets ($2 each or 6 for $10) for specific items, including backpacks, bags, running shoes and much more! Purchase as many raffle tickets as you desire at the BRC in Boulder starting Monday, April 16th or at the Boulder Distance Classic. Winners will be announced and prizes given away following the awards presentations.
