About the South Boston Neighborhood House
Nicknamed the "Ollie" after one of its founders and directors, Olivia Buckminster James, the Neighborhood House opened its doors to the South Boston community during the Settlement House movement in 1901. Our mission always has been and continues to be to support and preserve neighborhood and family life.
Over the years the Ollie has grown to meet the ever-increasing needs of its community. The proceeds of this race benefit South Boston Neighborhood House programs. Visit www.sbnh.org.
