Brief Description

Running On History: 8 miler! Essential tour for training for Boston! As a marathon runner, you know that you’ll be starting the Boston Marathon in Hopkinton, MA. But, did you know that the original start was actually in Ashland, MA? On this running tour, a guide take you Running On History from the original start line in Ashland! After the first mile, the route joins the new marathon route and you’ll experience Miles 4-10 of the BAA Marathon, returning to Boston on the MBTA.

Additional Information

We'll meet at the Back Bay MBTA station, take the train to Ashland and run the original route of the marathon for 8 miles to Natick, then return on the MBTA to Boston. With 2+ hours to complete the tour, there's plenty of time for photo ops and lunch.
