Brief Description

St. Luke's Women's Fitness Celebration 5K Run,Walk & Stroll is for ALL ages and ALL abilities. Join us for our 19th Annual Event and help us maintain the title of the LARGEST 5K for WOMEN and CHILDREN in the country. Run, Walk or Stroll from the high energy start line in downtown Boise through Tuxedo Row to the fabulous Finish Line Party in Ann Morrison Park for fresh food and great entertainment. It's the ULTIMATE GIRL'S DAY OUT!

WHAT'S NEW

Event Shirts - Shorter cut through the body and sleeves for a FEMININE FIT!

Start Line - The Start Line is one block closer to the Idaho State Capitol. Team Awards will be presented at the Start Line beginning at 8:00 am! Come early to enjoy the enhanced pre-race festivities.

Host Hotel - Red Lion Downtowner is the official Celebration Hotel. Check out www.celebrateall.org for more info on activities and discounted rates.

Who Can Enter

The St. Luke’s Women’s Fitness Celebration 5K is for Women and Children. BOYS, AGES 12 and UNDER are welcome to participate. Males 13 or older are encouraged to volunteer (CLICK HERE) .

A RACE NUMBER is required for each person on the 5K Course, including BABIES and CHILDREN.

NO pets, bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards are allowed on the 5K Course. Service dogs are welcome.

Packet Pickup

Participants can pick up their race number and event T-shirt at the Celebration Women’s Show, Thursday and Friday, September 22nd and 23rd, from 10 am – 8 pm, at the Boise Centre on the Grove. Race Day pick-up is available at Capitol Park, starting at 7 am, Saturday, Sept 24th.

Fast Lane

In a hurry to pick up your event shirt and number? For an additional $10 you can sign up for the Celebration FAST LANE. One quick stop at the Women’s Show and you'll get your event packet with both your number and event shirt, along with any pre-ordered merchandise. This feature is only available with online registration and only until September 11th.

Register Early

Upgrade to ZESTY LIME Green Event Shirt for FREE when you register by June 30th!! Register by July 31st and you'll still have the opportunity to purchase the Zesty Lime shirt for an additional $5.

All participants registering by July 31st receive a Personalized Race Number, printed with your first name.

Online Registration Deadline

ONLINE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE THROUGH TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2011. Late registration is available at the Women's Show September 22-23rd at the Boise Centre 10 am - 8 pm.

TEAM Members

Teams consist of a minimum of 10 members. Recruit your friends, family, or co-workers to Celebrate with you in 2011! Establish your own team, or look for the words“Open to All” in a team name to receive the team discount.

Team Deadline

DISCOUNTED TEAM PRICES ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2011. Team members registering after September 11, 2011pay Individual Prices, and are not counted towards Team Category or Team Leader Awards.

WAVE Divisions

Descriptions of each wave are noted below. If you wish to participate with family and friends, be sure you ALL select the same wave.

Start times begin at 8:55am and proceed in five minute increments.

Elite Run or Wheelchair

Invited world-class athletes who wish to be considered for the Elite Run or Elite Wheelchair division should send information verifying their ability to celebration@slhs.org. For more information visit www.celebrateall.org

Red Wave

This is a competitive, timed wave for those participants who expect to complete the 5K course in under 35 minutes. Select this wave if you are interested in setting a benchmark time. Age group AWARDS will be given. NO WHEELS OR BABY JOGGERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS WAVE.

Prestige Time Seeding

Expect to run the 5K in under 25 minutes? We have a special Celebration Start Line area for those participants who want to challenge themselves on an uncongested course. Qualifying runners will be given access to a warm up area and will move to the front of the Red Wave prior to the start. Register in the RED WAVE and be sure to ask for your Prestige Pass when you pick up your race number.

Yellow Wave

This is a competitive, timed fitness walk for participants who WALK the entire 5K course. Average participant in this wave will complete the 5K course in 40-60 minutes. TRY IT and get your time as a benchmark for fitness. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant suspected of running in this division. Age group awards will be given. NO WHEELS OR BABY JOGGERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS WAVE.

Blue Wave

This wave is non-competitive for participants who wish to walk or run. The Blue Wave lines up on the West side of Capitol Blvd. NO WHEELS OR BABY JOGGERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS WAVE.

Purple Wave

This wave is non-competitive for participants who wish to walk or run. The Purple Wave lines up on the East side of Capitol Blvd. NO WHEELS OR BABY JOGGERS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS WAVE.

Orange Wave

This is the family wave. Strollers, baby joggers, wheelchairs and assisted wheelchairs are invited to be part of this wave. For the safety of all participants and regardless of athletic ability, all participants in this wave must WALK the entire course. NO RUNNING/JOGGING!

Non-competitive waves ONLY! $12 + convenience fee for Individuals, $9 + convenience fee for Team Members. Tiny Tots receive a child sized t-shirt along with a child sized race number.

PLEASE FILL OUT A SEPARATE FORM FOR EACH CHILD THAT WILL BE PARTICIPATING. A RACE NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR EACH PERSON ON THE CELEBRATION 5K COURSE.
