Brief Description

The Texas Hill Country DeMolay Chapter is one of approximately 1,000 Chapters making up an international organization dedicated to preparing young men, aged 12 to 21, to lead successful, happy and productive lives. Based on timeless principles and practical hands-on experiences, DeMolay develops the civic awareness, personal responsibility and leadership skills needed by our next generation.

Additional Information

Significant DeMolay sponsored events include multi-day State Conventions and Legislative Seminars. The State Convention teaches these young men how to bring together, organize and lead disparate groups from across Texas. The legislative seminar, held in the Texas capital, teaches the legislative process in both theory and in practice. DeMolay is the only youth group allowed to use both the House and Senate Chambers for its mock sessions. Our own Texas Hill Country DeMolay Chapter won this year's "Best Chapter" in both the House and Senate sessions. Funds earned from the 5k walk/run will be used for registration, transportation, meals, housing and other expenses incurred by participating in these leadership building events. Awards will be presented following race. Raffle tickets and breakfast taco plates will be for sale.
