Brief Description

Bluffton's holiday run is back! Get ready for the holidays! Run the Reindeer 5K! Bring the kids for the kid's race! This is a great way for the family to spend a crisp morning beside the May River! The races start at 8:00 a.m. The kid's run goes first with the 5K to follow a few minutes after. The kid's run course will be an out and back of 1/2-3/4 mile. The 5K is a two loop course that takes in the roads near the Oyster Company Park.

CHANGE OF START/FINISH

The race will now start and finish at The Town of Bluffton Town Hall, 20 Bridge Street (Pritchard & Bridge), Bluffton, SC 29910. THE RACE WILL NOT START AND FINISH AT THE OYSTER COMPANY PARK THIS YEAR!

Off to the Races

The Reindeer Run 5K & Kid's Santa Shuffle are a great way to kick off your holiday season! Both races start at the Bluffton Town Hall parking lot at the corner of Pritchard & Bridge Street, Bluffton, SC.

The Race Courses

The Kid's Santa Shuffle will go off at 8:00 a.m. The course will be an out and back of approximately 1K. The Reindeer Run 5K is a 2 loop course (large loop and then a smaller loop) that takes in Old Town Bluffton. It will start as soon as possible after the kid's race...approximately 8:15 a.m. WALKERS AND JOG STROLLERS ARE WELCOME IN THE 5K!

Reindeer Run 5K Race Fees

The fees for the Reindeer Run 5K are: $20.00 through Nov 11; $25.00 from Nov 12-Dec 2; $30.00 from Dec 3-Dec 13 $35.00 Dec 14 & 15 (paper applications only)

Kid's Santa Shuffle Fees

The fees for the Kid's Santa Shuffle are: $15.00 through Nov 11; $20.00 from Nov 12-Dec 2; $23.00 from Dec 3-Dec 13 $25.00 Dec 14 & 15 (paper applications only)

Race Shirts/Reindeer Antlers

All runners registering before December 3 will receive a race shirt and wearable reindeer antlers. Think cotton unisex for shirt sizing! We cannot guarantee shirt size or availability for those registering on or after Dec 3!

Kid's Race Awards

The kid's race will not be timed or scored. All kids racing will receive finishers awards!

Reindeer Run 5K Awards

Awards (medals) will be given to the top 3 male and female runners; the top male and female masters runners; and, the top male and female masters runners. The top 3 finishers (male & female) in each age group will receive an award. Age groups will be 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, etc....in 5 year increments.

Post Race Party and Awards Ceremony

Hang around after the race for some post race goodies. The awards ceremony will take place as soon as possible after the race. Though we like to have the race completed before having the awards presentation, we reserve the right to begin the awards ceremony while the race is in progress.

Bluffton

Be sure to visit the great town of Bluffton while in for the race! This would be a great time to pick up some Christmas gifts!

No Refunds

Sorry but no race refunds. Also, we do not save or mail race packets should you miss the race. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the race should weather or unforeseen circumstances create a situation that is unsafe for the participants.
