Off to the Races

The races start at 7:30 a.m. and will take in the roads in the Town of Bluffton and Beaufort County. The 1/2 marathon offers great views of the lowcounrty and May River.

1/2 Marathon Race Fees

1/2 Marathon Fees: $40 through December 17; $50.00 December 18- December 31; $60.00 Jan 1, 2012 to race morning (paper application only on 1/06/12 & 1/07/12).

10K Fees

10K Fees: $25.00 through December 17; $35.00; dec 18-Dec 31; $45 Jan 1, 2012- race morning (paper application only on 1/06 & 1/07/12).

5K Fees

5K Fees: $20.00 through December 17; $25.00; Dec 18-Dec 31; $35 Jan 1- race morning (paper application only on 1/06 & 1/07/12).

Race Limits

The combined number of runners for the three races is 350 so register early.

Overall and Age Group Awards

Awards will be given to the top 3 female and male runners, the top Masters (over 40 years old) male and female, the top Grandmasters (over 50 years old) male and female, and the top 3 females and males in each age group. Age groups begin at 14 and under, 15-19 and are 5 year increments thereafter.

Race Shirts

Assume uni-sex sizing! Each person registered before December 20, 2011 will receive a race shirt. We do not guarantee sizes or availability of shirts for those registering after December 20 so please register early!!!

Packet Pick- Up & Race Day Registration

Pre-race packet pick up will be held Friday, Jan, 6 at Benchmark Fitness, 11 Sheridan Park Circle, Bluffton, SC 29910 from 5-7 p.m. Race day packet pick up and registration will be at the Calhoun Promenade from 6:30 am until 7:00 am. Race day registration will be available from 6:30-7:00 a.m.

Accommodations

We are in the process of lining up accommodations for our runners so please check back. We'll e-mail those registered as well as soon as this is firmed up.

Race Proceeds

A portion of the race proceeds will go to support local charities. Thanks for your support!!

Volunteers

If you have family, friends...for that matter, people you just sorta know and sorta, maybe like...with you who would like to volunteer, please have them contact multisportfit@aol.com and we'll put them to work! Volunteers will receive a shirt and bountiful thanks!

Post Race Party and Awards Ceremony

We'll be holding a post race party with food, beverages, and more at the finish area following the races. The awards ceremonies will begin as soon as practical/possible following each race. We reserve the right to begin the awards ceremonies before each race is completed. Don't miss the post race festivities!!

Visit Bluffton

Be sure to hang around Bluffton after the races. Visit the shops and restaurants and take in the atmosphere...You'll see why Bluffton is truly a great state of mind!
