The 10th Annual FROSTY 5K will take place December 24th, 2012. The 1 mile fun run, which is free, starts at 11:30am and the 5K starts at 12 noon.
Runners and walkers are welcome to participate. Those with baby joggers are asked to start in the back. Please no dogs.
Overall and age group awards. Age group awards 12 and under, 13-15, 16-17, 18-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-60, 61+
Runabout Sports is giving this years race proceeds to the American Red Cross this year. The American Red Cross has played a big role in the Hurricane Sandy disaster up North and we would like to contribute to their ongoing efforts to help our northern neighbors.
The shirt will be a long sleeve shirt given to the first 200 registered participants.
Every mile will be marked and water will be offered near the two mile mark. There will be food and drinks at the finish line.

Race day registration and start take place behind Food Lion Grocery Store Parking Lot on North Main Street (soccer field). Please park in the Food Lion Parking Lot at the end of the lot (save the close spots for their customers). The cost is $20.00 for race day registration.
COURSE: The course starts on a field behind Food Lion on North Main Street in Blacksburg. The course starts on the field but the majority of the race is on bike trails and roads. The course is mostly downhill for the first mile, rolling hills but net downhill for the second mile and a significant hill is in the third mile.
