Run Wild for Painted Dogs

This year we have a 5-K and children races to support Painted Dog Conservation. This race will run through and around the Zoo. 5-K Run Wild For Painted Dogs: This race/run/walk is open to any age. The race begins in the zoo parking lot and finishes inside the zoo, at the Trails of Africa exhibit.

Kids Races

The 5-K race is the main event but there are additional races for children, that take place once the main race is complete. Turtle Trot: Ages 0-2. Chicken Cha Cha: Ages 3-4. Groundhog Gallop: Ages 5-7. Serval Sprint: Ages 8-12.

Zoo Admission

All participants receive free admission to the zoo and the opportunity to purchase additional entry wristbands for family or friends. Everyone entering the zoo MUST have a wristband. Zoo members do not need to purchase a wristband. Please, bring your member I.D the day of the race and you will receive your wristband then.

Tshirts

Participants also receive an event t-shirt, size guaranteed if registered by May 1st. Additional t-shirts may be purchased at the time of registration or after the event.
