Brief Description

The Belvidere Family YMCA and the Stateline Family YMCA in Roscoe are staging the inaugural YMCA Stone Bridge Marathon. The point-to-point marathon is being sponsored by the SwedishAmerican Foundation. USATF certified as a Boston Marathon qualifying course. USATF course # IL-10094-JW. Simultaneous 5K races will be held in Belvidere and Roscoe. Both 5K races are being sponsored by Alpine Bank.

Additional Information

The Marathon will start at 7:00 a.m. CDST at the Belvidere YMCA and primarily use Russellville Road north to Long Prairie Trail. The route will connect with the trail at Beaverton Road and head east for 1.5 miles before turning westbound on Long Prairie Trail. About 12 miles of the marathon will be on Long Prairie Trail and lead to a segment of about 3 miles on Stone Bridge Trail. Both 5K races start at 8:00 a.m. CDST.
