When: Thanksgiving Morning, Thursday November 22, 2012, both races begin at 8:30am
Where: Catonsville High School, 421 Bloomsbury Ave. Baltimore, Md 21228
Why: All proceeds go directly to supporting the needs of two great causes; the Catonsville High School Cross Country program's travel, training and philalthropy needs, and also to the Catonsville Family YMCA's Safe Place for Kids program, which supports area families in need of child care and summer camp services for their children.

Race day $35. (Registration, and the start and finish are located at the basketball courts on Rolling Rd.
Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run $15. (Cotton, youth sized t shirts are available for these athletes on a first come first served basis. Because we're family friendly people, there are two options for parents who wish to run with their children in the 1 mile fun run 1) you, too, can register for the 1 mile for $15., however, the only available t-shirt options for 1 mile runners are the cotton, youth sized shirts. Or, 2) since the 1 mile run is the same as the 1st mile of the 5k race, you can register for the 5k and then run the first mile with your child and then continue the rest of your run to finish the 5k. Note, only 5k registrants will be chip timed.
Prizes: Thanks to our Great Sponsors, we are able to offer incredible prizes to the following finishers for both men and women: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall, and 1st place to the following age categories 15 and under, 16-18. 19-29. 30-39. 40-49. 50-59. 60-69. 70+
Additional Information: We know that Thanksgiving morning can be very busy, so in an effort to get results to you faster so that you can head off to your other Thanksgiving day festivities, we'll be using bib chip timing this year!!
Tech T-shirts are available to the first 700 registered participants, so register early!
Both the 5K and 1 Mile races are cross country style and cover the beautiful campus of Catonsville High School. * A note to returning racers that in an effort to reduce concrete running, and to increase the aesthetic qualities of race day, there is a new course this year that we are very excited to share with you!
