Brief Description

This is a charity run to benefit Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. All proceeds will go directly to Special Olympics Illinois USATF Certified (IL-07079JW) The course is situated on blacktop and gravel terrain on the Gilman Bike Trail and around Blackberry Farm's Lake Gregory. Mile splits will be called out at each mile. There will be refreshments at the finish line.

This is a running event. For the safety of the runners,bicycles,skateboards,inline skates,dogs, are strictly prohibited. Race Day Information: . Registration and packet pick up 07:45AM - 8:30 AM . 5K race starts at 9:00 AM . RACE WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE Registration Information . Race donation is $ 25.00 . Awards will be given to the top male and female in each of the listed groups and overall male and female. 14 & under 15 -19 20- 24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-59 60-64 64-69 70 & up. T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners prior to 10/20/10 Refunds will not be issued for any reason.
