TIMING: Event will be chipped timed using the Chronotrack Timing System.
TIME:
12:30p.m. – Race day registration & number pickup
2:00 p.m. – Start of 1Mile race
2:30 p.m. – Start of 5K race
BENEFITING:
Proceeds from the race will benefit both the Proceeds from the race will benefit both the Auburn/Opelika Parkinson's Disease Support Group and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
T-SHIRTS:
T-shirts will be given out to all pre-registered entrants on the day of the race. Entrants registered after October 27, 2012 are not guaranteed requested size or shirt – if a reorder is made, you may have to pick up your shirt two weeks after the race. (Pick up location to be announced on race day)
AWARDS:
1 Mile: All finishers receive a finisher’s award
5K: Overall Male & Female and age group awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place in age groups, 6 & under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over (male & female)
REFRESHMENTS:
Post race refreshments, including local food and beverages will be available to all registered participants.
