Brief Description

Pace Your Pet at the Ahimsa House Annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run. We encourage everyone to bring their dogs for these runs to benefit the animal and human victims of domestic violence.

Course Description

Course is a USATF certified 5k with overall elevation drop with down hill finish inside beautiful Lenox Park over the dam. Course flat to rolling hills on tree lined roads around the park.

Awards for 5K Run

Prizes will be awarded to overalls, masters, and to the top female and male finishers in eight age groups. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Dogs crossing the finish line.

5K Run

Fee includes 5K Run, Tech T-Shirt for early bird registrants and a goodie bag. • $25 Early Bird through August 18 • $30 between August 19 and August 24 • $35 day of

1Mile Fun Run

Fee includes entry in 1 Mile Fun Run; Walk, Wag N’ Run T-Shirt and a goodie bag. • $15 anytime - Fun Run must register by August 18 at 5pm to get a t-shirt.

Start Times

5K Run 7:30 am, 1 Mile Fun Run 8:45 am

Packet Pick-Up

On Friday, August 24 at the event site in Lenox Park between 5 pm and 8 pm, or on race day.

Directions

Park at 2180 Lake Blvd. NE, Atlanta, 30319 - Take I-85 to Exit 89 (North Druid Hills Rd) - Go north on North Druid Hills Rd NE - At the Y in the road, bear left onto E Roxboro Rd NE - After 0.6 miles, turn right onto Lake Blvd - Go 0.2 miles to the 2180 Building on your right after 0.2 miles

Additional Information

Walk, Wag, N’ Run will offer a USATF certified 5K course and will be a 2013 Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.
