Brief Description

Join in the excitement of the Annual Virginia-Highland Summerfest. The festival is a nonprofit event with proceeds donated to neighborhood projects, park improvements, landscaping, public libraries and more.
Highlights of Summerfest include the artist’s market with over 200 national artists, live music, food, Kids’ Fest and the 5K Road Race..

RACE DETAILS

5K course runs through Virginia Highland neighborhood. Stick around afterwards for the Summerfest Festival – music,food, artist’s market! www.vahi.org.
5K starts 8AM near intersection of Virginia Ave/N Highland Ave & finishes near John Howell Park.

AGE GROUP/AWARDS

Unique picture plaque awards to Overall M & F, Masters M & F, and 3-deep each age group 10 & Under through 70 & over in 5-year increments. Gift cards from Phidippides for Overall & Masters M & F winners. 100% cotton 2010 Virginia Highland Summerfest t-shirt.

EARLY PACKET/NUMBER PICK UP

Pick up your race number and t-shirt at the following locations before the race!
Phidippides at Ansley Mall – May 28, 29, June 1, 2: 10AM–6PM (closed 5/31)
Virginia Highland Church, 743 Virginia Ave, ATL 30306 – Fri, June 4th 4:30–7:30PM (pick up only – no registration)
Race Day: N. Highland & Virginia Ave,1017 N. Highland Ave, Atl, 30306 6:30am-7:30am

TOT TROT

8:45 AM - ages 5 & under - $8. Location: near musical stage Inman School. Ribbons & T-shirts given. Tot Trot registration online until May 20 or mail before May 1st. Tot trot registration on Race Day at Inman School stage area @ 8AM. No Registration on Fri night at Church.

PARKING IS LIMITED!

Parking in the neighborhood is limited and will be even more so with the festival. Suggest you use public transportation/carpool if possible. Arrive early to find a parking space - do not block driveways!
