Brief Description

This fast 5K course begins at the top of Mt. Wilkerson in Vinings, winds around the Cumberland Mall area, and ends at the Chattahoochee River Park (330-foot net drop). The record time for this very fast course is 14 minutes, 29 seconds. The 1-Mile Fun Run begins and ends at the Vinings Jubilee.
The race is sponsored by Vinings Rotary and benefits Calvary Children's Home, The Good Samaritan Health Center and the Vinings Rotary Charity Fund.

Post Race Party at Vinings Jubilee & Buses

After the 5K you may ride the bus from the Finish Line to the Vinings Jubilee for the post race party or you may choose to walk the 1 mile trip.
After the awards ceremony you may ride the bus back to your car or you may walk the 1/2 mile trip.

DRI-FIT Race T-Shirt

The official DRI-FIT Race Shirt is guaranteed to all 5K Finishers and Phantom Runners that register by September 1st.
The official 100% Cotton Race Shirt will be guaranteed to all 1-Mile Finishers that register by September 1st. Extra Cotton shirts will be handed out to late registrants (September 2nd through RACE DAY) while they last.
Shirts will be handed out at the race party at Vinings Jubilee.

Top 3 place awards in 14 age groups from 10yrs & under to 70 and over.
Female 1st place winners recieve a Costco Flower Bouquet.

Directions

The Overlook III building address is 2859 Paces Ferry, but the entrance to the building is off of Overlook Parkway. DIRECTIONS: from I-285 exit 18, the Paces Ferry exit go towards the city on Paces Ferry then turn left just past the QT at the traffic light.
