Charity:
The proceeds from the Wheelbarrow Race 5K benefit the Reynoldstown Civic Improvement League, which is the non-profit organization responsible for neighborhood revitalization.
Directions/Parking:
Parking is a challenge, so come early. Parking will be available at Stein Steel and on various neighborhood streets. From I-20 W, take the Memorial Drive exit. Take a left on Bill Kennedy, a right on Memorial and a left on Holtzclaw. Stein Steel is located at the end where Holtzclaw meets Kirkwood.From I-20 E, take the Moreland exit. Take a left on Memorial Drive, a right on Holtzclaw. Stein Steel is located at the end where Holtzclaw meets Kirkwood.
Awards:
We will have overall men's and women's first place and three deep in each age group M/F (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & over) for runners.
Packet Pickup:
IMPORTANT: Packets will be available for pick up at a location Park Grounds Neighborhood Cafe on the Thursday and Friday prior to the race (September 8th and 9th) from 5-8 pm. Day of registration and pick up will also be available (unless cap of 500 is already reached).
