Event Information
Held for over 20 years, Magnolia Run includes a 5K run and one-mile fun run/walk, hosted annually at Perimeter Mall to bring awareness and support to EFGA. This is a great way to spread the work about the resources available at the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia. Last year, over 900 runners and walkers participated and all proceeds went directly to help fund support groups, educational programs, children's camps and medications for those in need. Come out for a fun-filled morning of exercise, good company, and philanthropy!
This year's course is a verified Peachtree Road Race Qualifier!
Magnolia Run Timeline
Saturday, August 25th, 2012
6:30 a.m. – Registration
7:30 a.m. – 5K run
8:30 a.m. – 1-mile run/walk
Awards:
The top three runners by age group, as well as overall male and female runners will receive an award for their achievement! Awards will also be given to the top fundraising team.
All runners will be rewarded with goodies and entertainment following the event, as well as having the reward of helping a good cause!
Participant Level
All participants will receive a Magnolia Run t- shirt.
Awards
Male and Female in the following categories-
1st Overall, 1st Master (40+) and First Place for age groups
19 and under: 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.
Team Level
The top fundraising team and the team with the most members will receive an award and will be recognized in press releases, the EFGA website newsletter and website.
