Brief Description

Our fourth race, the proceeds from this event benefit the Youth Enrichment Program of the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs Community Action Center. This program helped send over 200 children from the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs area to summer camps in 2009.

Family Health & Fitness Fair

Make the day a family event and tour the Family Health & Fitness Fair. Event opens at 8:00 am. Make the day a family event (children fun & fitness activities included). Hula Hoop, Jump Rope, Hop Scotch and more. Raffle tickets: $5.00. Multiple items raffled.

The 5K Course

Race start and finish is at the Dunwoody Baptist Church, 1445 Mount Vernon Road, Atlanta, GA 30338. The race starts on Mt. Vernon, then south on Ashford Dunwoody to Crowne Point. North on Perimeter Center West to Mt. Vernon and back to the church. 5K race begins at 8:00am; 2K run/walk begins at 8:30am.

Awards

Awards for the 5K race will be presented to Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female, 1st, 2nd & 3rd place awards in 13 age groups from 14 and under through 70 and over. All pre-registered participants will receive a race t-shirt. Race Day registration: Limited T Shirt availability.

2K Fun Run/Walk

For those who do not wish to run the 5K course, a 2K Fun Run/Walk will begin at 8:30 am. There is no change in the registration fee.

Mail-in Registration

Must be postmarked by March 19. Mail your entry and check to: CAC, PO Box 501298, Atlanta, GA 31150-1298. Entrants will receive race numbers on race day.

Register in Person

Register in person between February 1 and March 19 and receive race number immediately at Fleet Feet Sports, 224 Johnson Ferry Road in Sandy Springs (404-255-3338). Please have exact change or personal check.

Team Registrations

Teams of 10 or more registering together will receive a 10% discount. Register by mail. See http://www.ourcac.org/springsprintregister.html for the team forms.

Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup

Entry fee on race day is either $20 per person (age 13 & up) or $15 per person (age 12 & under). No team registrations on the day of the race. Registration and race number pickup will begin at 7:00 am in the Dunwoody Baptist Church parking lot. Limited T-shirt availability for Race Day registration.

Directions & Parking

From I-285, Exit #29 Ashford Dunwoody Road. Go north on Ashford Dunwoody Road approximately 1.75 miles past Perimeter Mall. Dunwoody Baptist Church is on the left.
