Brief Description

RACE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER Come celebrate 25 years of the Spartan 5K at Athens Academy, 1281 Spartan Lane, Athens, GA 30606. The course is run entirely on paved streets with nearly 8/10 mile downhill finish, so come and set your 5K PR. Participants will be bused to the start, so there is no uphill start. NOTE: Family registration is available via mail in only and not through active.com!!!!!!!!

Additional Information

Pottery Awards will be presented to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top three M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. All Spartan Sprint finishers will receive a special ribbon. Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.runningintheusa.com, www.active.com, and www.coolrunning.com. Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 7:15AM in the school cafeteria. There is plenty of parking, but arrive early in order to catch the bus to the start. The last bus will leave the registration area at 8:50AM in order for the race to start on time at 9:00AM.
