Friday, April 16 - 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 18, 8:00-9:30 a.m. and the Asheville Jewish Community Center.
The 5K course has been redesigned for 2010 so the race starts and finishes at the JCC. The 5K course map can be found at www.jcc-asheville.org. The Fun Run course is within Weaver Park.
The first 250 registered runners are guaranteed to receive technical, short-sleeve running shirts from Stryde. The sizes are unisex.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 overall finishers (male & female) and to the top 3 in the following age groups: 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Over.
The two fun runs will be held during the Celebration Israel Festival at Weaver Park on Sunday, April 18 at 1:30 p.m. They are designed to bring the thrill of running to our children and will be held on the greenway trails of Weaver Park. Register at www.jcc-asheville.org. Tots (2-5) - 12:30 p.m. Kids of All Ages - 3:00 p.m.
All proceeds from the Falafel 5K will benefit the scholarship funds of the Asheville Jewish Community Center programs
