Turkey Trots in the West
42 Annual Longmont Turkey TrotLongmont, Colo.; Nov. 12, 2016 1 of 11
What Makes it Special: Most Turkey Trots usually run a distance of 5K—and some usually offer a longer 10K option. Not the Longmont. Its 10K race is go long or go home (actually, it does offer a two mile course). In its 42nd year, it's not looking like it intends to slow down anytime soon. Added bonus: All proceeds benefit the City of Longmont Youth Scholarship Fund.
