As you run through the forest, you won't just need to evade the living dead—famous characters like Freddie, Jason and IT the Clown will also be looking for blood. Kick off the Halloween weekend in appropriate fashion by fleeing zombies en route to a Saturday afternoon party. Survivors will get a 3 to 5-minute head start on their living dead pursuers with two lifelines attached to their belts. The goal will be to reach the awaiting after-party with both flags, while zombies will attempt to grab as many as possible on their way. Once the race ends, the fun continues, as zombies and survivors will put aside their differences and party at Zombie Fest—featuring Kraken Rum, Curveo Cinge tequila and local brews.

Here's a zombie run with a twist—the living dead are giving chase and the survivors' footing is compromised in a one-of-a-kind 5K mud run with 12 military-style obstacles awaiting them. If getting muddy and/or becoming a zombie is not your thing, dress like a superhero instead and hit the pavement for a 2K or 5K SuperHeroes Race.
