The hot, sticky days of summer may be upon us, but that's no reason to stay confined to air conditioning. Tune up for your upcoming fall races at one of these August running events. From small-town traditions to big-city beer runs, these races will keep you motivated and in shape. You can always cool off after you race with a popsicle and dip in the pool to celebrate your running achievement.
Note: Some races on this list could be sold out or have registration periods that have ended, but we included them her because, if you're a planner, there's always next year.
