30 Years of Woodstock: Peace, love, and running! More than 30 years ago, Anniston Runners Club created an excellent race destined to last for years - a challenging course, great local support, and a fun atmosphere! Our goal is to continue that excellence. This event has something for everyone. Whether you are a walker or a runner, a team member or an individual, young or old - this unique event is for you. NEW for Kidstock 2010!

NEW, we want the kids to experience all the fun of a "big" race! The kids will receive DTags - professional timing - and custom number bibs. We will have a real startline with a Kidstock START banner. There will be a water stop on the course complete with cheering fans. EACH finisher will receive a real metal medal - not a plastic one. And every child will get a technical race shirt. What other 1 mile fun run goes to such lengths for your child to experience the thrill of the race?

Cost

Fee includes a technical race shirt, goody bag, street party the night before, and post-race party. Packet Pickup Pasta Pigout Street Party - Small fee this year (runners $7/nonrunners $12) at Classic on Noble - the MOTHERLODE of CARBO LOADS! Online registration closes August 5 at 6 p.m. The last chance to register is at the Packet Pickup Pasta Pigout at Classic on Noble (1024 Noble Street, Anniston) - Friday, August 6 from 5-7 p.m. NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!

Team Challenge: 5 New Categories

For the Woodstock 5K only: Calling all Team Captains! Team Categories are: Mixed (M/F), Open Male or Open Female Only, School Team, or Business/Organization Team. Team Captains are responsible for their team's individual runners' entry forms, payment, and delivery of Team Entry Form (print from website: www.woodstock5k.com). TEAMS must register by Saturday, July 31, 1010.

We would love to have you as a vendor at our event! Go to the website: www.woodstock5k.com, and fill out the 2010 Woodstock Vendor Form, and mail it in. Hosting a booth is free, but we do require you to register before the event.

AWARDS/CATEGORIES The Woodstock 5K results are based on chip time (not gun time). We offer Overall Awards, including unique bobblehead trophies and CASH PRIZES, Age-Group Awards, Clydesdale/Athena Awards, Team Challenge Awards. The Kidstock 1 Mile is for kids 14 and younger.
